About Us

My journey in healthcare began at Farmingdale State College, where I earned my Associate Degree in Nursing in 2007. While working at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center, I continued my education and completed my Bachelor’s degree at Farmingdale — balancing long shifts, hard work, and a passion for helping others every step of the way.

Driven to grow even further in patient care, I went on to earn my Nurse Practitioner degree from Adelphi University nearly a decade ago. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working in a variety of clinical settings including Southside Hospital electrophysiology, Stony Brook University Hospital, and private practice — experiences that strengthened both my clinical skills and my understanding of truly personalized patient care.

As my career evolved, so did my passion. I discovered a deep love for wellness, aesthetics, and helping people feel confident from the inside out. That passion led me to gain hands-on experience with Ideal Image and later with a North Shore wellness group, where I expanded my knowledge in modern wellness and patient-centered treatments.

Today, after years of experience, growth, and dedication, I’m incredibly excited to take the next step: building a wellness practice of our own. Every chapter of my journey has helped shape the vision behind what we are creating — combining medical expertise, compassion, wellness, and confidence-building care to help others become the best version of themselves.

Jessica Santamaria, AGNP-C, is a New York State licensed Adult Nurse Practitioner with more than a decade of nursing experience spanning the outpatient office, medical-surgical, and intensive care settings. Her clinical background ranges from acute, high-acuity care to pre, post, and perioperative management, giving her a well-rounded foundation in patient assessment, treatment, and education.

Jessica began her career in 2009 as a Registered Nurse in an outpatient specialty office before advancing through roles as a unit manager in rehabilitative care, a medical-surgical and telemetry nurse, and an ICU/CCU nurse at Mather Hospital at Northwell. She went on to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the Department of Medicine, Cardiology (Electrophysiology) at Stony Brook University Hospital. Throughout her career she built a reputation for clinical excellence, compassion, and mentorship, frequently serving as a preceptor for new nurses and nursing students.

She holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Stony Brook University’s Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner program and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from SUNY Empire State College.

Most recently, Jessica has worked as a provider at a local wellness center, offering trigger point injections and IV vitamin infusions. This experience sparked her ultimate passion: opening a wellness center of her own — Sand & Sea Wellness and Hydration.
